Board Member Exposé

Maryellen Jansen, CMP

Director of Education

Maryellen Jansen, CMP, CTA has been with Riehl Solutions, Inc., a multi-client association management firm since the fall of 2008, and has been in the association management business since 1998.  In her position at Riehl Solutions she manages 3 associations full time and co-ordinates the annual conference for a fourth.  Her association management duties require her to not only handle the day to day operations of the association but also to plan each associations’ various meetings and events.  For the past year, Maryellen has served on the MPI Michigan Board of Directors in the position of Director of Education, and encourages all MPI Members to become engaged as a volunteer with the chapter, noting it is one of the best ways to reap the rewards of membership.  Maryellen has been married for a really long time to her husband Craig and enjoys traveling with him and their three girls.  When not working or keeping up with her family you can most likely find her cheering on her beloved Spartans or reading just about any book on any available beach.

Active chapter members in good standing are eligible for the nomination and election to any elective office. For Executive Committee positions, it is preferable that the member has previous service on the Board of Directors.
